Principal's message

Nadia Winston

Dear Westside K8 Parents and Community Partners,

Welcome to the start of another great school year at Westside K8 School! I look forward to a year full of high expectations and achievement.  For those new to Westside this year, I am pleased to introduce myself as Westside’s Principal, Ms. Nadia Winston. I have been principal at Westside K8 for three years (appointed as Principal on July 7, 2013).  We have two new Assistant Principals this year- Lastenia Penaloza and Joyce Graham! Ms. Penaloza was an administrator at Kissimmee Charter Academy and Ms. Graham was an administrator at Ventura Elementary. We are excited to welcome these outstanding administrators to our Westside K-8 family! This year, we will be promoting the mindset of MISSION POSSIBLE, where with perseverance and diligence, ANYTHING is POSSIBLE! Student learning is the center of our work and we want all parents and community partners to join us in our mission towards academic and behavioral success!
