Westside K8 School creates a student-centered learning environment in which students exhibit consistent academic and personal growth using problem solving strategies. Our school promotes a safe, caring and supportive environment that empowers students to self-advocate through motivation and determination to succeed academically and personally each academic year. We foster integrity, accountability, and responsibility. We encourage families and our community to partner in supporting academic and personal growth in all students.
Our community at Westside K-8 strives to develop motivated students who self-advocate using strategies to solve problems and who experience consistent academic growth with integrity and determination.
Principal’s Message
At Westside K-8, we are proud of the incredible work happening every day to support student learning and growth! Our students and teachers continue to demonstrate dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence as we work toward reaching our greatest potential.
As we approach the midpoint of the school year, we encourage our students and families to continue focusing on the habits that make a difference:
Together, we will continue building momentum, celebrating progress, and making every day count!
Westside is the Bestside!
Mission Growth: The Warrior Way— This is the Way!
Warm Regards,
Janine Bracco
Principal
Westside K-8 School
As a Choice District, we allow parents to select the school they want their children to attend, as long as that school has capacity and program availability.
Each one of our public schools has a full-time sworn law enforcement officer serving as a School Resource Officer on campus every day.
Our students have highly-qualified, certified teachers who provide engaging, relevant, and rigorous instruction.
We offer a rigorous curriculum and systems of support, complete with college preparatory and career and technical education paths to meet the needs of every student.
Students have the opportunity to take high school credit courses in middle school and to earn college/postsecondary credit at no cost to parents while still in high school.
We offer courses that allow students to explore career interests, master workplace competencies, gain employable skills, and earn industry certifications and licensing upon graduation.
