Please note that the attendance policies at Westside K-8 School reflect those of the School Board of the School District of Osceola County, Florida. 

Excused Absences

To excuse an absence, you must submit official documentation to Westside K-8 School Attendance. (wk8sattendance@osceolaschools.net)

Please use our format of student’s name and ID #, date/s and reason for the absence, if you have documents to attach, they can also be included. This will assist us in updating our students’ attendance in a timelier manner.

Pre-Arranged Absences

To request a pre-arranged excused absence, please complete the

Pre-Arranged Absence Form English.
