Parents, we need your assistance! This is a good opportunity to review responsible restroom practices, such as only using the amount of tissue and paper towels needed, only flushing tissue, using appropriate amounts of hand soap, washing hands, and placing trash in the trash can.

There have been multiple occurrences of vandalism on campus in the 5th grade boys' restrooms and the middle school restrooms (boys and girls). Our custodians work hard to keep our facilities clean and available for students to use. We understand that this behavior is from a small number of students, but please speak to your children and remind them of how to treat school property. If they see something, say something. We will implement disciplinary actions, and potentially contacting law enforcement, for anyone causing vandalism to the school facilities. Below are images taken from paint splattered on walls, paper towels shoved in toilets, and writing on walls.

Students will learn the important skill of marking the text for critical information, by numbering paragraphs, circling key words/phrases, dates, or important vocabulary words, and underlining text evidence that helps them master benchmarks and standards.

All proceeds go directly to supporting the AVID program, helping us fund college visits for our students.
